# How to join a Subscription Sale on Starship

**Step 1:** Visit Starship website at [https://starship.network](https://starship.network/) and choose the Subscription Sale

**Step 2:** On the Sale detail page, click **Commit C98** button

**Step 3:** Select the Starship NFT you want to use for the subscription and click **Confirm**.

**Step 4:** Input the amount of C98 you wish to commit and click **Confirm Commitment**<br>

After the subscription period ends, Starship will calculate your allocation based on the total pool and oversubscription rate. The total token will proportionally be divided among all subscribers. If the sale is oversubscribed, your allocation may be less than your committed amount.

**Step 5: Claim the tokens**

There are 2 scenarios for Subscription Sale.

**Scenario 1:** If the total subscribed amount is under the Hard Cap, participants receive their full allocation based on their committed C98 tokens. Project tokens are distributed via Coin98 Vault to the wallet address that is linked to the OneID used for the subscription.

**Scenario 2:** If the total subscribed amount exceeds Hard Cap (Over-subscription), you have to take two actions:&#x20;

1. Claim project token through Coin98 Vault ([How to claim tokens](https://docs.starship.network/for-investor/how-to-join-community-sale-on-starship-a-step-by-step-guide/how-to-claim-tokens/how-to-claim-tokens-via-coin98-vault-not-for-fan-card))&#x20;
2. Redeem the over-subscribed C98 (through Coin98 Vault or directly on the Sale detail page) after the sale ends following the announced details.
